Each semester I am amazed that of all the classes we offer in philosophy, my philosophical meditations class is the first to fill. It might be because it is only a one-credit course, and it does not require any papers or tests. But I think it's something other than that. The word is out! Breath meditation and taijiquan are good for you, fun, reduce your stress levels, and after fifteen weeks you can do a passable taijiquan short form that makes you proud of yourself.
